ORI REVISITED

     With Ori and the Will of the Wisps launching in just under a month, I decided to revisit Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition. Simply put, it’s a masterpiece of art. Featuring a story that pulls at the heartstrings, beautiful visuals in the vein of Studio Ghibli, and a positively enchanting soundtrack, Ori is something I think all gamers must experience at least once. Taking the classic Metroidvania formula and bringing serious depth to it is no small task. Moon Studios should seriously take a bow, as this is truly one of the very best games of the generation. I was already anticipating the sequel, but now my expectations are sky-high. If you haven’t played Ori, now is the perfect time to experience it, and prepare yourself for the coming revelation of Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

     PS: Oh and FYI, if you purchase a new physical copy of Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition for Xbox One, it comes with a copy of the soundtrack.
