NINJA + MIXER = MICROSOFT WIN

NINJA + MIXER = MICROSOFT WIN

It’s impossible to overstate how big of a deal it is that Ninja is signing with Microsoft owned Mixer. Ninja, (for those unaware), is a game streaming icon, and has an absolutely enormous online presence and social media following. Now that Ninja is exclusively streaming on Mixer, Microsoft and Xbox are going to obtain more publicity, advertising, and by proxy, sales of their products than ever before. Ninja gains clicks, views, attention, period. More people tuning in to watch him play games, will lead to more people thinking it’s cool, and result in buying the games themselves. Mixer subscriptions and overall use will skyrocket, as well, now that it’s Ninja’s place of activity. This is a brilliant business move by Microsoft, that will see dividends soon, when Gears 5 launches in September. Who better to promote one of their flagship titles to the masses than Ninja? When Halo Infinite launches with Scarlett next holiday, you’d better believe that it will be front and center on Mixer, being played by self-professed Halo fan, Ninja. The revenue they receive from the massive uptick in Mixer subscriptions and use, plus presumed game sales from Ninja exposure, will give Microsoft more money to put toward new games, studios, accessories, etc. This is both a short term, and long-term strategy.
