KATANA ZERO – REVIEW

KATANA ZERO - REVIEW

Katana Zero is a frenetic, brutal, difficult, and mindboggling action game. You play as a Samurai assassin infused with superhuman abilities from a drug called Chronos. The ability to manipulate time, deflect bullets with your sword, and other skills make combat frenetic and stylish. Missions starts are fairly straightforward and easy, but by the end of the game, are Dark Souls difficult. Important decision making is mixed throughout the story, leading to a variety of possible endings. The story is filled with twists and jaw dropping reveals. Visually speaking, Katana Zero is like a modern Super Nintendo title, bringing a fun retro vibe, with modern fidelity. I would caution that the game contains many visual effects, lighting, flashes, etc. that may be troubling for individuals with photosynthetic sensitivity. If you like swords, brutal difficulty, time manipulation, plot twists, and fast paced action, Katana Zero is a must play. It is absolutely a perfect fit on the Nintendo Switch.
