ID@XBOX FALL 2019 SHOWCASE

     The ID@Xbox Fall 2019 showcase was a rapid-fire briefing, fitting a large number of games into an eleven minute program. The show highlighted a sizeable library of indie games coming to Xbox Gamepass. Games of all genres were shown, displaying a wide breadth of variety coming to Gamepass. This diversity enables the service to have something enjoyable for everyone. Both Gamepass for Console and PC Gamepass have quality titles coming this Fall. Below, is a list of the games shown, brief descriptions, platforms available, and release dates.

Genesis Noir: A Cosmic Adventure – A noir thriller involving a man trying to stop the Big Bang, which created the game’s universe. It involves unique black and white graphics, with movements and visuals inspired by jazz music. The game will be a Day 1 launch for both Console and PC Gamepass in the relatively soon future (the developer did not give a concrete release date.)

Munchkin: Quacked Quest – An RPG adaption of the hit Steve Jackson card game series. It utilizes cards in gameplay, with optional cooperative playability, and comes to Console and PC Gamepass in 2019.

Yooka-Laylee – This fun platformer featuring a chameleon and fruit bat duo, is made by Playtonics, a studio comprised of some Banjo-Kazooie veterans. The game comes to Console Gamepass in 2019.

The Escapists 2 – The sequel to the popular prison escape simulator, Escapists 2 comes to Console Gamepass in 2019.

Cities Skylines: Windows 10 Edition – The popular city creator and management sim comes to PC Gamepass in 2019.

Lonely Mountains Downhill – This is a downhill cycling game, where the player has several different ways to get down the mountain, including optional objectives, trials, etc. This title launches Day 1 on Console and PC Gamepass in 2019.

Demon’s Tilt – An occult themed, heavy metal sound tracked, hack’ n slash, bullet hell, pinball game. This title launches Day 1 on PC Gamepass in 2019.

Minit – An RPG where a player has a minute of each game day to complete quests and try to lift a curse. It comes to Console and PC Gamepass in 2019.

Red Strings Club – This is a Cyberpunk adventure game. It comes to PC Gamepass in 2019.

The Talos Principle – The hit narrative, first-person, puzzle game comes to Console and PC Gamepass in 2019.

Vambrace: Cold Soul – This is a fantasy RPG featuring seven quest worlds, and a collection of characters. This title comes to both Console and PC Gamepass in 2019.

State of Mind – This is a futuristic thriller featuring dystopias, eutopias, and trans-humanism. It comes to PC Gamepass in 2019.  

Dead by Daylight (Beta) – The popular 1 vs. 4 horror survival game, comes to PC Gamepass in 2019.
