FRIENDS LEAVING NETFLIX IN 2020

     Friends, the iconic sitcom, is leaving Netflix in 2020. WarnerMedia, the company who owns the rights to the series announced that they are taking Friends off of Netflix, and making it exclusive to their own streaming site, which launches in 2020. This, coming fresh off the heels of The Office getting pulled from Netflix, is a brutal blow for Netflix and its consumers. Netflix is clearly no longer the only great streaming service available now, as more and more companies are making their own services. Friends, along with The Office are the top two viewed shows on Netflix by far, and this is something about which Netflix had no say. They wanted to keep both, but the respective owners decided otherwise.
