BAD NORTH: JOTUN EDITION REVIEW

BAD NORTH: JOTUN EDITION REVIEW

Bad North: Jotun Edition is exactly the type of game that thrives from Gamepass, an excellent game from a small indie studio who would likely go unnoticed, but for its presence on Gamepass, immediately giving it access to a huge audience. I decided to try the game on a whim, and absolutely loved it. (Loved it so much that I immediately bought it after my first playthrough.) It is a tough as nails, strategy & tower defense game, where you have up to four commanders on small battlefields, as you sail across the ocean, trying to find a new home. Each island you come across brings vicious Vikings, trying to take what’s yours. You will upgrade your commanders, find new ones as you travel, and equip items to help stem the tides of battle. The game gets increasingly difficult as you progress, with the Last Stand being an all-out war for survival, the Dark Souls of tower defense and tactical survival. If you enjoy tactical games such as Into the Breach, or tower defense games, I definitely recommend checking out this game. It is available now on Xbox Gamepass for both Console and PC.
