REVELATIONS FROM THQNORDIC

     This week, THQNordic had a press release filled with juicy tidbits about the company’s current operations and future plans. Along with traditional reports about revenue and financials, the release also had this exciting news! They have hired Steve Ellis, co-creator of TimeSplitters, to help plot the future course for the franchise. Figuring in that they already having several original team members of the IP on staff, this is a clear indication that TimeSplitters is coming back. Another beloved IP returning after a long hiatus, is Saints Row. Volition is in deep development of the next title in the hit series. The task of caretaking the Dead Island franchise has now been given to Dambuster Studios, who are now in charge of development for Dead Island 2. In a separate announcement, THQNordic also let us know about their acquisition of Gunfire Games (Darksiders Series).
